The Medication Aide training program equips students with the knowledge and skills to safely administer medications in healthcare settings. This course covers proper medication management, dosage calculations, legal guidelines, and patient safety protocols. Graduates will be prepared for certification and ready to support nurses in providing quality patient care.

Program Hours: Theory 48hrs/Clinical 20hrs for 68 hours total
Program Duration: 3 weeks
Offered In: Traditional In-Person, Virtual, and Online

Requirements

  • CNA or PCA certificate or 40 hours of direct patient care experience
  • Valid Identification card (driver’s license, state ID, Passport)
  • Criminal Background check($50.00)
  • Valid CPR certification(Healthcare provider by American Heart Association)
  • TB Test (PPD test/Quantiferon gold test/chest X-ray)
